Despite being cursed with an affliction for revelling in terrible jokes and wordplay (Did you hear the one about how Eskimos have stopped their jaws freezing in the depths of winter... ?) David is constantly striving to remove the pain points felt by schools and to deliver the highest quality networking opportunities and professional development for teachers.
After reading Economics and Politics at Loughborough University and working for a couple of multinational companies, he completed his PGCE at Newcastle University and taught in the UK maintained and independent sectors, eventually becoming Deputy Head at an independent boarding school.
When he is isn't extolling the virtues of senior leaders and teachers thinking differently to improve learning outcomes for children, David can often be found in the craft shops of Leeds with his two little girls, or, more occasionally, at the City Ground in Nottingham.
(If you really are wondering, it's because Eskimos have started gritting their teeth...)
