Encourage teachers to collaborate and engage students in the learning process!
“Using The 3D Classroom content will empower our teachers to provide engaging digital content to help every student reach their full potential by personalizing learning environments to meet different learning needs. The 3D Classroom solution will assist us in teaching STEM concepts that lay a foundation for students that are college and career ready. Creating visual learning content will encourage our teachers to collaborate and share projects that engage students in the learning process.”
- Kim Clemmons, Supervisor of Instructional Technology at Wilson County Schools
We are delighted to be working with The 3D Classroom by Sensavis. Their thrilling 3D software will appeal to all kinds of learning styles and will revolutionise teaching and learning in the 21st Century Classroom.
The 3D Classroom – makes the complex easier to understand!
The 3D Classroom is a visual learning tool that helps all students in the classroom to become more motivated and involved and to achieve good results.
The educator navigates freely through the interactive, realistic visualizations and, using their own words and pedagogy, can adapt the lesson to suit the students. The learning tool is currently used at all levels of education, from reception to college. The 3D Classroom contains subject modules for biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, geography and engineering. The learning tool does not contain text or sound and is not limited to any curriculum.
Create your own teaching tools
By recording an instructional video based on the high-quality content and the educators own words and distributing it to the students, the educator can flip the classroom and turn the lecture into an inspiring workshop where the educator and students have creative discussions.
By sharing videos among colleagues, this can also promote peer learning and strengthen the educator’s assessment of where the student is in the learning process through formative assessment.
Recording the videos is easy. For schools using Microsoft Office 2013 or Office365, Sensavis recommends using Office Mix, a free plugin to PowerPoint. Have a look at this video to see how you could get started: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ir9DO2deKbc
Here are two examples how educators are using the tool:
Customer driven development
Educators using The 3D Classroom are invited to share knowledge about the aspects that are complex and difficult for students to understand, and the information is used to develop new content. Participants in the process include educational institutions from all over the world, including Millfield School in the UK, Aldar Academies in the United Arab Emirates, Nevada State College and Southwestern Michigan College in the USA, the Tanglin Trust School in Singapore, the Singapore Ministry of Education and more than 200 schools in Sweden.
Easy to use – get started right away
The 3D Classroom can be used on a regular Windows desktop or laptop. It can be combined with a 2D TV or projector or a 3D TV and 3D glasses, interactive boards (Smartboard, Promethean boards) and projectors.
